Who is responsible
This website, junaidkalia.com, is operated by Junaid Kalia, MD, based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, United States. For any question about this policy or your information, write to junaidkalia@savelife.ai.
What this site collects
- Contact form: your name, email address, the reason you choose and your message. These are used only to read and reply to you.
- Technical data sent by your browser when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. The hosting provider keeps this in server logs for security and reliability.
- Visit statistics from Vercel Web Analytics. It counts page views without cookies and without following you across other sites.
- Your IP address, held briefly in the server's memory when you submit the contact form, to limit repeated submissions. It is not saved afterwards.
- A setting on your own device (browser storage) that remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It never leaves your device.
What this site does not do
It sets no advertising or tracking cookies, does not build profiles, and does not sell or share your personal information for advertising. Messages from the contact form are sent by email and are not saved in a database on this site.
Why the information is used
- To answer your message and keep a record of that correspondence.
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse and fix faults.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are read.
Who receives it
- Vercel Inc., which hosts the site and provides the visit statistics.
- Resend, which delivers the contact form's email, once the form is connected.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, if it is switched on, to tell people from automated programs when the form is submitted.
- Nobody else, except where the law requires it.
These providers process the information on the owner's behalf and may do so in the United States.
How long it is kept
Emails are kept for as long as needed to reply and to keep a record of the conversation, and are then deleted. Server logs and visit statistics are kept by the providers for the periods set in their own policies.
Global Privacy Control and cookies
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the site treats it as an opt-out request. The site currently sets no cookies other than the strictly necessary ones its hosting may use for security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, for example in Texas, other US states, the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may have the right to ask what information is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its use and to complain to your local data authority. Write to junaidkalia@savelife.ai and say what you would like. You may be asked to confirm who you are, and a reply will follow within 45 days.
Children
This site is written for adults and professionals. It is not directed at children, and no information is knowingly collected from anyone under 16.
Medical information
Please do not send medical or health information through this site. It is not a channel for patient care and messages are not monitored for emergencies.
Changes
Changes to this policy are published on this page with a new version number and date. The version above applies when you use the site.
